Slip-On Line (Titanium) for DUCATI DESERTX 2019-2024
The muffler outer sleeve is made from high-gradetitanium, with a stainless-steel link pipe and muffler inner structure. Finished with acarbon-fiber end cap and heat shield, this exhaust reduces weight by 33.4% (1.1 kg). The new design offers greatdurabilityand personalization for the motorcycle. With a heat shieldthat has been totally designed from scratch, the package provides passenger and gear protection, while delivering a unique appearance. Power gains of 1.8 kW (2.4 hp) at 9,400 rpm and torque increases of 1.8 Nm at 8,100 rpm when compared to a Ducati DesertX equipped with the standard stock system and tested on the Akrapovi in-house dyno combined with a perfect throttle response. A deep, vivid, and sporty sound is emitted from the exhaust, which has anEC/ECE type approval certificateand is a simple plug-and-play installation with no remapping needed.
Optional Link Pipe/Collector (SS) forDucatiDesertX2022-2024
Constructed from high-gradestainless steel, this newly developed link pipe replaces the stock pre-muffler, where the stock catalytic converter is located, leading to a more direct gas flow, aimed at increasing performance. Providing a hugeweight reductionof 79.2% (3.8 kg) over the original link pipe, this option also increases power by 3.2 kW (4.4 hp) at 8,600 rpm and improves torque by 5.6 Nm at 4,600 rpm when fitted to a Slip-On Line (Titanium) on a Ducati DesertX and compared with the standard stock system on the Akrapovi in-house dyno. Serving up an enhanced sportierracing sound, this track-oriented optional part has no EC/ECE type-approval and has been developed for use on closed-course competition circuits only. It is a simple plug-and-play installation, and remapping of the ECU is recommended.
When installed, the EC/ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) becomes invalid.
