Triumph use the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to check compatibility of a part or accessory with a bike. Specifically, it is the last 6 of the VIN that are of interest. The VIN can be found in a number of places, but usually you’ll be able to it on a plate attached to the bike, stamped on to the frame or in the documentation that came with your bike.
